SWOOSE HEIT003
Danny Simpson, better known as Swoose, is a close friend of HEIT, and was introduced to the series in the very early days of developing the concept.
We are very excited to present his submission to HEIT which features one of his own productions, showing a more ambient side of Swoose’s sound.
His original productions and mastery of technical ability have his tracks being released through Feel My Bicep, On Loop and Shall not Fade.
Danny’s tracks are being played widely on the dance floors by names such as Shanti Celeste , Bradley Zero , Sally C and Saoisre; As well as Danny playing his own sets at legendary clubs like Berghain and Space Ibiza , along with festivals such as Glastonbury and AVA.
Swoose is a London based DJ and producer from Belfast, best known for his gritty, analog-driven house sound. Danny’s music carries a raw warmth that nods to the old-school while staying fresh and forward-thinking.
While his usual sets hit with energy and grit, this new mix takes a slower, more introspective turn. It blends deep, spacious grooves showcasing a natural, psychedelic edge of Danny’s introspective self. Still unmistakably Swoose — just viewed through a different lens.
Whether in the studio or on the dancefloor, Swoose brings a grounded, hands-on approach to his craft.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
Hello, Im Swoose; Belfast born a DJ and Producer, I’m [now] based in London. I’ve been here 15 years.
How did you approach the mix?
I put together this mix sort of like an introspection mix kind of the songs I listen to to decompress remove myself from the madness of the world, but also remember myself the beauty of the world, so the songs on there are quite ambient, with a few surprises, as well as a unreleased track for myself.
Where would you reccomend listening to this mix?
In terms of I guess you probably want to be at home, chilling on beanbag or a forest walking around in the sun. It’s just nice mix to decompress to.
I hope you enjoy, big love.
