London based composer, producer, and DJ Rubén Baiz’s usual sound flows through deep, minimal house & tech, infused with touches of soul, funk, and jazz. Rooted in the underground cultures of London and Ibiza, he channels his passion into everything he touches; driven to express, to connect, and to move the floor.
Rubén proudly launched a boutique record label Haptic Records last year. This extremely talented producer has gained recognition for his original work and expansive sets, including a 2.5-hour mix entirely of his own original productions, which you can listen to here; 100% Rubén Baiz.
As his contribution to the HEIT series, Rubén explores a slower and experimental side of his record collection, capturing the reflective vibe of his Sunday walks in the sun. The mix also nods strongly to his Latin roots, adding depth and character throughout.
We go a little deeper into a slightly groovier, more dynamic take on at home listening with Ruben’s mix. Celebrating the song selection with cut style mixing woven throughout, creating a subtly more upbeat energy while remaining reflective and intimate.

Hello everyone, My name is Rubén Baiz and I’m a London based DJ and Producer, mainly known for the house, tech and minimal sides of dance music.
How did you approach the mix?
For this mix I wanted to bring in the latin and soulful side to my musical collection. I really enjoyed putting this one together, I wanted to create an experience from start to finish that can be felt, on a Sunday morning, and enjoyed with time. In those moments where you have that time to be present, and enjoy that coffee, or go for that Sunday morning walk.
I appreciate to anyone who is tuning in to listen because this is something a little bit different on my end.
